Meaghan Franks is the founder of Sport Sitters, a marketplace connecting families with NCAA Division I female athletes for active, engaged childcare.
Meaghan began her career at the National Institutes of Health’s Child Psychiatry Branch, contributing to children’s neurodevelopment research published in the American Journal of Psychiatry, Biological Psychiatry, and Cerebral Cortex. After graduate school, she transitioned into business and entrepreneurship, bringing together her research and business experience with her perspective as a mom.
She founded Sport Sitters to give families a health focused approach to childcare and give female student-athletes a flexible way to earn income, build their personal brands through NIL, and become positive role models for kids in their communities.
