Sport Sitters is an innovative technology platform enabling families to book DI female student-athletes for active, engaging childcare through its mobile app.
Our athletes represent women’s basketball, beach volleyball, court volleyball, gymnastics, lacrosse, soccer, swim, triathlon, water polo, and more!
Sport Sitters operates as a closed network. To access its features, families and athletes must complete the full registration process and pass a comprehensive check for approval.
We currently serve families located within 20 minutes of the following universities:

Our messaging and call service within the app allows families and athletes to easily communicate. Maintaining all communication within the app facilitates the documentation and oversight of interactions, which is critical for safety of both parties, payments, and resolving any disputes or concerns that may arise or other terms of business.
All bookings require a minimum of 3 hours and can be scheduled for a maximum of 10 hours.
Bookings start as early as 7:00 AM, with the latest start time at 9:00 PM. All bookings must end by 2:00 AM.
You will receive a push notification as soon as an athlete accepts your job. You can tap their profile to see details about them, including their school, team, and athletic achievements to share with your children before their arrival.
Credit card information saved in your profile is required to book a job. Payment is processed when your athlete checks-out. Payments for services rendered are processed by a third-party service and a processing fee is applied to all transactions. Upon completion of a job, Sport Sitters distributes payments as follows: a portion is given to the athlete who completed the job, a portion is allocated to their team fund, and a booking fee is paid to Sport Sitters.
Sport Sitters do not provide transportation. Our athletes strengths shine through movement, engagement, and play, not behind the wheel. For safety and consistency, all bookings are completed in the home or at a location provided by the family. This ensures your child receives the full attention and energy of our athletes in a safe, supervised environment.
All in-app reviews are private and only visible to our internal team. We ask for your honest feedback after each booking so we can continuously improve the platform, support our athletes, and ensure every family has the best possible experience. Your input helps us address any issues promptly and recognize outstanding athletes!

Our pricing is structured as follows for 1-3 children: $20 per hour for your athlete and $2 per hour for your athlete's team. A booking fee and payment processing fee are applied to each job.
Jobs with four or more than four children require special approval. Please email support@sportsitters.pro.
Request the latest time you may come home so the athlete paired with your booking will be available for the complete possible duration. You will only be charged for the actual time away.
You only pay for the time you are away, prorated to the exact minute after meeting the required 3 hour minimum.
We understand that life happens! If you need to cancel, we kindly ask that you provide as much notice as possible.
Confirmed Bookings:
Cancellations made between 12 and 72 hours in advance will incur a 1.5-hour charge. For cancellations made less than 12 hours before the appointment, a 3-hour charge will apply. These charges compensate the athlete who accepted the request.
Unconfirmed Bookings:
There are no cancellation charges for booking requests that are not accepted by an athlete.
When booking a job you will be prompted to select the children that will be present saved in your profile.
Nearly all female sports teams are non-revenue and face severe underfunding. Every hour an athlete works generates revenue for their team through a Team Fee. It's a tangible way for the community to support women’s collegiate athletics. Every dollar counts.
Families are prohibited from soliciting, requesting, or pressuring athletes to break terms of service, including the exchange of personal contact details, in any way or will be removed from the platform and incur serious fines. In-app technology identifies this behavior and flags accounts for review.
You must be a current or former D1 female student-athlete, US citizen and in good standing with your University or College and in the community. Download the app and complete the initial sign-in registration. Once submitted, your registration will be reviewed within 24 hours. We'd love you on our team!

Earn money on your terms by accepting jobs that fit your schedule! There’s no minimum requirement. We’re here to support you and understand that as a student-athlete your schedule is busy and unpredictable.
